The peripheral discharge rod mill can be used for crushing or grinding materials according to production needs. Dry or wet grinding can be selected based on the performance of the materials, and it can also be used for grinding block ores in the machinesand process. Its working principle is consistent with that of a conventional ball mill.

The raw materials are fed into the ball mill by a drum feeder, and the inner wall lining of the ball mill cylinder is made of high manganese steel, equipped with steel rods as the grinding medium. During the ball mill operation, the steel rods perform parabolic motion to crush and grind the materials, and ﬁnally are sent out through the opening around the slurry outlet cylinder, thereby entering the subsequent process end.

Performance characteristics

The rod mill produced by Minjie Company is diﬀerent from conventional mining ball mills in that it uses a V-belt drive, and the cylinder belt position is processed into a V-belt groove through a large CNC ﬂoor lathe,which can save energy and reduce costs.
